| I want adventure in this great wide somewhere!! I want it more than I can tell!! And wouldn't it be grand....to have someone...understand....I want so much more than they've got planned....Beauty and the Beast Basically, to make a long story short, I feel like I need a little bit of tlc...some lovin'? some extra special treatment from someone especially close to me? some man-handlin'? I don't know...it's wierd for me to feel like I don't want to be independent anymore, but you know what? that's how I feel....in the words of someone very brilliant....I have the irresistable desire to be irresistably desired....it probably means that i'm growing or something...I don't know...I hope i grow out of this phase soon though, because it's quite the distracting....somebody love me? ~*Riz*~ | | |
| Believe it or not, Xanga is a dying species. I do not know whether or not it will be revived--only time can tell. I'll use this from time to time, mostly to rant and rave, or tell about some fantasmic event in life because I haven't figured out how to do that on myspace yet. ...yes...i got a myspace. *oi* It only took me like three years, but it finally happened. Farewell for now, fellow "xanga-ians turned myspace-ians". You have listened to me rant and rave for a long time, but it's time to move on. Now go!! Eat your poptarts, and be free, child!!

Then fix it, dear henry, dear henry... Then fix it, dear henry, dear henry, FIX IT!
haha...that song can get pretty raunchy if you are creative enough...lol..good times. Not much happening here...lots of down time to read and play some notes, and do lots of thinking, which is quite a dangerous pass time, you know....oh well i suppose...call me to make some plans, people, or else mid-summer depression will take over me, and i'll be forever down-trodden. I'm not even sure that word fits there, but what ev...

| Peak of the summer to you!
Hey everyone! It's been a long time since I've updated....but not too much has happened. It's been raining like crazy, and I've been quite content to just sit and read a book while the rain creates a creative beat on the window pane. Steven King, Mark Twain, and of course Lucy Roberts are my home-peeps. Their books are quite the interesting.
I went to my first concert in Philadelphia last Saturday--it was really really amazing to drive taht far with no parents...and it only lasted until 10:30, so I was home by 1:15 ish. Let me tell you, Panic! At The Disco is the most amazing band EVER!! They were spectacular to watch, and the Dresden Dolls were almost as good. Quick story::
When I was 10 or so, I really wanted my first concert to be a Britney Spears concert (this was back when she was actually good, and had a better image), and I had just finished telling Danica (my concert partner) this when the Dresden dolls invited the lead singer of Panic! At the Disco to come on stage to sing a song from one of America's "greatest" singer-song-writer's. He sang Britney Spears' "Hit me baby one more time"! It was really ironic, but he gave the best performance, and it really made my night.
So that was the story...it pretty much made my summer happy. Now all I need is for my best friend SARAH B. to come home from icky old Boston, because I miss her like there's no tomorrow....she's grand.....
Well...that's all from me, kids...thanks for reading about my concert experience...won't you leave me some love?!

| I think I'm okay with life at the moment....not too much happening really...just lots of summer fun in the sun. I have a lot of a tan at the moment...not anywhere close to how I usually am though....just uneven...my tummy's quite pale, but my knees and arms are a lovely bronze color me likey....tis quite the sexy...
I've come to the conclusion that swimming for sport is absolutely amazing...it's so satisfying to jump into the water at 7:45 in the morning for a warmup drill when the sun has barely been up for an hour....and the to get out of the water feeling refreshed and ready for a run around the town. It's also very refreshing to drop two and a half seconds from every event I swam. *accomplishment* *succeeding* yes....summer is awesome.
It just dawned on me today that last year around this time, I was anxiously awaiting my trip to the U.K. holy shit...that's all I have to say about that....
Well...i hope everyone is having fun...call me if ya wanna chillax with me at the pool, or somewhere else fun....LOVE YOU ALL!
